About Transplant City Beer Company
It all started with two guys with a shared passion of hockey and beer. Already an experienced homebrewer, Justin Egbert invited Paul Power to come brew with him. Together they called themselves BeerdOPower. They brewed beers that they knew that they’d love and started sharing it with friends. It didn’t take long for the rave reviews to come in and before they knew it they were making beers for weddings and parties.
Seeing the response that their beers received from friends and strangers alike, naturally the thought of going pro came up. As the Arizona craft beer scene blew up, the guys were able to see how the other breweries were doing it and that helped focus their brewery plans. The model they landed on was a small taproom that would serve as the local watering hole for a community where they can make small batch beers focused on unique and creative ingredients.
In 2018 the opportunity they’d been waiting for fell into their laps. The Litchfield Taproom became available and they jumped at the chance. With a location closely tied to a community and 1 barrel brewing system, it checked all the boxes of what they were looking for and before they knew it, they were brewery owners!
