Pay close attention to the navigation at the bottom of the website. You’ll notice all of the cities in Arizona are listed that accommodate these wineries and breweries. If you click a city, you’ll get a nice little page that lets you know what exists in that city. I’ve found that lacking while trying to figure out where to go while on vacation. You’ll also find a more organized menu on other pages.

Learn more about Salt Mine Wine

In 2015, we produced our first limited production vintages of Arizona wine. 77 cases of Sangiovese and 59 cases of Malvasia Bianca were produced in Camp Verde with grapes sourced from Buhl Memorial Vineyard located in the Kansas Settlement near Wilcox, Arizona.

During the next three years we tended our maturing vineyard and transformed a horse barn into a winery and chilled storage facility. In 2018, we opened our winery and tasting room and began producing our vintages at Salt Mine Vineyard and Winery in Camp Verde. We also completed our first limited harvest of estate grapes, and produced our first estate vintage, a 2018 Malvasia Bianca.

In 2019, we increased our estate harvest and produced approximately 500 cases of Arizona wine, with the majority of grapes sourced from our Camp Verde vineyard. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have continued to upgrade our vineyard and winery in preparation for the 2020 harvest and winemaking season.

There are some things that just have to be noted about a particular place. Things that can't go unnoticed and deserves to be in its own little area on AZbottle. If nothing is listed here it doesn't mean that there was nothing special it's just that it wasn't added yet.
